Hello! In this tutorial, I will show you how to create an email account using the cPanel control panel. We will follow step by step to ensure you can set up your email account without any difficulties.
Step 1: Access the cPanel Control Panel
First, log in to your hosting account through the cPanel control panel. To do this, use the access credentials provided by your hosting service.
Step 2: Navigate to the Email Accounts Section
In the cPanel dashboard, locate and click on the “Email” section. Then, click on the “Email Accounts” icon to access the area where you can create new email accounts.
Step 3: Create a New Email Account
To create a new email account, click on the “Create” button. You will be directed to a screen where you need to fill in the necessary information:
- Email Address: Enter the desired name for your email (for example, contact@yourdomain.com).
- Password: You can create a password manually or click on “Generate Password” to obtain a random password. It is recommended to use a strong password to ensure the security of your account.
After filling in these fields, click on the “Create Account” button to complete the process.
Step 4: Access the Webmail
With the email account created, you can access it through Webmail. There are two ways to do this:
- Direct Access from the Panel: In the cPanel control panel, click on “Check Email” to open Webmail directly, without needing to enter the password again.
- Access via URL: Alternatively, you can access Webmail directly through your browser. Enter the following address:
yourwebsite.com/webmail
. On the login page, enter your full email address and the password created earlier.
Step 5: Set Up the Email Client
After accessing Webmail, you will receive a welcome message with instructions on how to set up your email client, such as Outlook or Thunderbird. In the next video, we will cover how to set up your email account in different email clients.
